Carolyn is an accomplished Educational Training Consultant based in Atlanta, Georgia, with almost two decades of experience in early childhood education and family support. With a Bachelor of Science of psychology and a minor in elementary education Carolyn in strongly equipped to be highly effect. With a strong foundation in psychology and elementary education, Carolyn has dedicated her career to enhancing the quality of education and support services for children and families corporate partners. As a certified bilingual program specialist, she leverages her communication skills to foster connections and drive improvements across educational programs, ensuring that both children and parents receive the resources they need to thrive.
Carolyn served as a Bilingual Program Specialist for the Department of Health and Human Services and other institutions, where she played a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating grantee programs. Her responsibilities included analyzing financial and statistical reports, providing technical assistance, and developing policies to enhance program operations. Carolyn was and is committed to ensuring compliance with federal regulations and improving school readiness, which has made her a vital asset in the realm of early childhood education.
In prior roles, Carolyn was the Family Support Coordinator and Transition Coach at The Sheltering Arms Early Education and Family Centers, where she actively engaged families and facilitated smooth transitions for children moving between educational programs. Her experience also includes providing training and support to staff, managing community partnerships, and promoting parental involvement in educational settings. Carolyn’s diverse background equips her with the ability to navigate complex challenges in educational environments, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
